Once in royal David's city,
G Em D G
stood a lowly cattle shed,
G Em
where a mother laid her baby
G Em D G
in a manger for His bed.
C G D G
Mary was that mother mild,
C G D G
Jesus Christ her little child

He came down to earth from heaven
Who is God and Lord of all
And His shelter was a stable
And His cradle was a stall
With the poor and mean and lowly
Lived on earth our Savior holy

And our eyes at last shall see Him
Through His own redeeming love
For that Child so dear and gentle
Is our Lord in heaven above
And He leads His children on
To the place where He is gone

  1. Thank you very much for your generosity.

  2. This is wrong. If God is real , next time you catch him for a word ask him for the correct tab…..JACKASS

  3. They play OK for me Michael. There is an alternate tune. Your experience is obviously not wide enough to realise this so you degenerate into abuse.

  4. Micheal, sadly, has missed the point of Christmas. I am not religious but sharing, love and care is a message that has value in any society. Respect is just as important. Thanks for your efforts Craig. Ken

  5. In view of all this, I would just like to reiterate my thankfulness for your generosity, Craig.

  6. These pieces work beautifully for me..perhaps Michael is not very familiar with the tunes! Thanks, you just made my Religious Education classes a whole lot more fun 🙂

  7. This tab worked great for my Uke…Thanks!
